HAPPY EASTER!

 EASTER WITCHES

On the Thursday before Easter, called Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday, witches fly on their brooms to a place called Blåkulla, which means The Blue Hill. Children dress up as witches in head scarves and long skirts and go trick or treating, much as they do in America at Halloween. Actually, in recent years the American Halloween customs have been imported and are also celebrated in Sweden. Talk about double dip!
